Dungeon Lootr Tier List — Best Classes in Update 2.5

Full Dungeon Lootr tier list for Update 2.5, ranking every S, A, B, and C tier class with stats, skills, and how to unlock them.

Update 2.5 completely reshuffled the Dungeon Lootr meta, and a fresh Dungeon Lootr tierlist has never mattered more. Between 50–85% base damage buffs, new Berserk-inspired classes, and the removal of the paywall on new weapons, the gap between a good build and a great one is now enormous. This Dungeon Lootr tier list breaks down every class from S Tier monsters like Dragon Slayer and Cursed King down to C Tier kits you should probably skip, with real stats, skill multipliers, and unlock routes so you know exactly what to grind for next.

Whether you're a free-to-play grinder or sitting on a stack of Robux, the rankings below will tell you which classes can carry any content in the game — and which ones will make you work twice as hard for half the results.

Helpful resources: beginner guide, comprehensive guide, and complete codes list.

How This Dungeon Lootr Tier List Works

Classes are ranked on four factors: raw damage output, defensive coverage (Parry, Dodge, and iFrames), utility like grouping or healing, and how easy the class is to actually obtain. A class with insane multipliers but zero defensive frames will usually sit one tier below a slightly weaker class that never gets caught standing still.

TierWhat It MeansExamples
S TierMeta-defining. Top-end damage plus safety or utilityDragon Slayer, Cursed King, Anti Magic
A TierExcellent and can carry, but has one real drawbackDark Professor, Hawk Commander, Cryomancer
B TierGood strengths, noticeable compromises in hard contentAzure Devil, Vacio, Divergent
C TierPlayable but outclassed by everything aboveBoxer, Wanderer, Witch Gunner

One important note: Update 2.5 converted several former Celestial classes into Exotics, and a lot of older tier lists never updated that rarity change. If you're cross-referencing community rankings, double-check whether the list you're reading reflects the new rarity system.

S Tier — The Best Classes in Update 2.5

These are the kits that define the current meta. Community reports consistently place them at the top of boss rush, Endless, and Underworld Gate Nightmare clears.

Dragon Slayer

The headline addition of the Boss Rush Refresh is a Berserk-inspired greatsword class, and it may already be the strongest physical bruiser in the game. It starts at 66 ATK and +24 STR — absurd baseline numbers — with damaging skills sitting between x15.0 and x24.0 before Mastery adds another 20% to the whole rotation.

  • Greatsword Cyclone: Parry active throughout the entire 2.5-second spin
  • Rupture Leap: Dodge-protected gap closer with a ground-splitting landing
  • Dragon Slayer (ultimate): x24.0 slam with Parry and a knockdown on regular enemies
  • Resolve passive: Every hit taken grants +3% damage, stacking up to +30%

You can earn it free through the Eclipse March quest, a Floor 25 drop, or 75 Dragon Slayer Fragments via pity exchange.

Cursed King

Sukuna's class got one of the most ridiculous damage passes in the patch: Skills 1 and 2 now sit at x14, Skill 3 at x20, Skill 4 at x24, and the Ultimate reaches a staggering x85. Base damage is also up 50%, and both Fuuga and the Ultimate received double-sized hitboxes.

Three core attacks still grant full invulnerability, so the damage spike didn't cost you the safety that made the class good. The only real weakness is 200 HP with 0 VIT — but at this point, the challenge is finding enough enemy health bars to feed the rotation. Unlock it through Boss Rush rare drops from Floor 40+ or craft it with boss fragments.

Anti Magic

A 410 HP bruiser with +14 VIT, a 3-second stun on Black Divider, and heavy Parry coverage. Update 2.5 injected 50% more base damage, pushing its four skills to x7.5, x8.5, x10.5, and x12.5. Twelve-Fold Cleave and Black Divider now convert protected windows into genuinely scary burst.

The one thing that hasn't changed is Black Hurricane — it's still the greed button. Community players joke that it's the skill that gets you killed, but the new numbers make Anti Magic an even safer S-tier pick overall.

Awakened Devil EX

One of the biggest climbers of the patch. Base damage up 85%, M1s now on a x1.6 multiplier, and attack speed increased by 80%. That completely changes how much damage the class produces between skills instead of relying only on Mirage Chase, Spatial Divide, Sky Crash, and Lunar Phase.

Mirage Chase still gives full iFrames with two charges, and Spatial Divide's three charges keep it slippery. 245 HP remains a real weakness, but the output is far too high to leave it in A Tier. Complete the Valen NPC quest to unlock it.

Honored One

Gojo's class received a massive damage pass: Blue is now x10, Red is x15, Hollow Purple is x30, and base damage is up 50%. Infinity buffs M1s by 1.2x and speeds up skill animations by 1.2x on top of its existing damage reduction, movement, attack speed, and healing.

Blue still gives full invulnerability while grouping enemies. The old 200-HP drawback matters far less when Infinity is active, which is why Honored One moved from A to S Tier this patch.

A Tier — Strong Classes With One Catch

These classes can absolutely carry runs, but each has a meaningful drawback keeping it below the monsters above.

Dark Professor

The community's favorite caster got exactly the changes it needed: every skill has 25% less startup and endlag, and Skill 1 no longer roots you while casting. Multipliers are up to x6, x7.5, x12, and x24, with another 5% base damage.

The heavier casts still lack real Dodge or Parry protection, which is why it stays in A rather than S — but the gap is much smaller than it was before Update 2.5. Some community tier lists still argue it belongs in S, especially on maxed INT gear with Tempest and Umbral aspects.

Demonbane

Now Exotic rather than Celestial, and finally worth the rarity bump. Zoltraak is x15, Vollzanbel is x9 overall, and Catastravia reaches x20, while Skills 1 and 4 gained 1.3x and 1.8x larger hitboxes. The 65% base damage increase is enormous when combined with Gravity Well grouping enemies into those stronger AoEs.

It still has only 215 HP, +1 VIT, and no meaningful defensive frames. That's the only reason it isn't S — the damage jump alone promotes it from B to A Tier. Best of all, it's a free Level 50 Battle Pass reward.

Hawk Commander

A spinable class that genuinely surprised testers. Commander's Sweep is a protected x12.0 opener, Falcon Thrust is a Dodge-covered x14.0 dash, and Hawk Captain's Assault mixes Parry protection with a Dodge frame during its x22.0 three-part rush. Rallying Break adds a chunky x16.5 overhead hit with knockdown.

Unbroken Vanguard is excellent in packed rooms — five nearby enemies mean +15% damage and +10% damage reduction. The reason it lands in A rather than S is boss consistency: its Level 50 passive loses most of its value against a lone target.

Cryomancer

New multipliers of x8.5, x9, x15, and x13, with larger hitboxes on Skills 2 and 3 and 1.05x faster animations across the kit. Base damage only rises 5%, but Frost Double clones also deal 7.5% more damage. Permafrost Hurl still brings knockdown chances, and Frozen Sigils remains a strong room-clearing tool. No proper defensive frames keep it in A.

Which Classes Should You Actually Grind?

If you want to reach peak performance, prioritize the S Tier classes — and the good news is the best ones are surprisingly accessible.

For a broader look at how the game's progression systems feed into class power, the official Roblox page for Dungeon Lootr is a solid starting point, though most balance details live in the developer Discord since patch notes often lag behind.

Best Titles and Aspects for Each Archetype

Your title and aspect choice can swing your damage by a huge margin. Here's what the community recommends:

Build TypeBest TitleBest Aspect
Physical / STRUnchainedTempest or Umbral
Ranged / DEXIron SightPhantom or Tempest
Magic / INTS3.Paragon or The StormTempest or Umbral

The Storm title comes from reaching Mastery 50 on Awakened Devil EX. If you're struggling early, the Sanguine aspect's lifesteal provides extra sustain — but once you learn to kite enemies, damage boosts will always outperform defensive crutches.

How to Farm Exotic Materials

  • Exotic Shattered Armor: Underworld Gate Nightmare and Endless, 8% chance from the Igris secret boss
  • Exotic Essence: Underworld Gate Nightmare at 5% on completion, or Challenge Mode bosses at 30%
  • Exotic Ore: Challenge Mode at 35% from Igris (wave 30+), or Underworld Gate Nightmare at 15%

C Tier — Classes to Avoid Investing In

Not every class needs a full breakdown, but here's the short version. Boxer has only one Dodge-protected move and almost no AoE or utility. Wanderer has a genuinely good defensive tool in Ink Mirage, but three of four attacks lack protection and the kit has no standout gimmick. Witch Gunner is simply outclassed — Archer, Artemis, Forge Archon, and Sinister Trigger all deliver cleaner ranged damage with better safety or stronger payoff.

If you've already invested in these, they're still playable. Just don't expect them to keep up once harder content starts asking real questions.

Final Thoughts on the Update 2.5 Meta

The physical archetype is clearly dominating right now. Dragon Slayer, Cursed King, Anti Magic, White Hawk, and Spell Breaker all sit in S Tier, and the removal of the paywall on new weapons means free-to-play players can finally compete at the top. If you're picking one class to main this patch, Dragon Slayer is the safest bet — it's farmable, it hits like a truck, and the Resolve passive rewards aggressive play.

For everything else, use the tables above to match a class to your preferred playstyle, stack the right title and aspect, and you'll be clearing any content the game throws at you.
